KENGO KUMA/BAMBOO RING SATOKO SHINOHARA/TOBUSA BENCH

Meeting with architects and installation opening

Meetings and conferences

Kengo Kuma and Satoko Shinohara are the protagonists of this event dedicated to design and architecture and planned thanks to the consolidated collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Milan.

The day is divided into two moments, the first at Villa Strobele, where architect and designer Satoko Shinohara presents Tobusa Bench, realised thanks to the collaboration with D3Wood and NordZinc.

The second appointment, at the Malga Costa area, is dedicated to the opening of Bamboo Ring by Kengo Kuma, the famous Japanese architect.
Bamboo Ring is a "nomadic" work, first carried out in London by Clare Farrow for the London Design Festival in 2019 and then migrated to the Fuorisalone in Milan in 2021, at the Cortile dei Bagni of the Università Statale thanks to the partnership with Interni and Roberto Ruffoni, Design Research Manager of Oppo.

On this occasion the Sashiko Jacket will be presented (designed by Kengo Kuma for Montura, together with Arte Sella and the Polytechnic University of Milan, and launched at the Fuorisalone 'Creative Connections' in Milan in 2021, together with Bamboo Ring).
