La voce della PIAZZA (The Square)

A participatory project

exhibition

The opening of the exhibition "La voce della PIAZZA" (“The Square”) will take place on Friday, February 24 at 5pm at the MUSE – Science Museum of Trento. Until March 26, 2017, the MUSE will host more than fifty works of art by the painter Matteo Boato, from Trentino, interpreting the concept of “square” as a public space through a skillful use of colors and visionary perspectives. The canvas will show parts of the city of Trento and Pergine, and of other Italian squares, among which Mantova, the renowned Piazza del Campo of Siena, and Cremona. The intention of the artist is to investigate the primary essence of these city centers, with a particular focus on houses, facades, doors and windows that overlook their medieval hearts.
The exhibition will be supported by the participatory project “The voice of the square”. On this occasion, the MUSE will function as a real city environment, where conversation pieces emerge from the indistinct chatter of the people walking by, and opening its spaces to all those who would like to share a story, a message, a memory, or an important issue. Every day a different story, a mixture of emotions and experiences that will give the museum a more inclusive and engaging character.
Do not miss this opportunity to share ideas, from Monday to Friday at 5.30pm, and Saturday and Sunday at 6.30pm. Follow our live coverage on Facebook or on our YouTube channel.
