MARIO BRUNELLO, YONG MIN CHO

Mario Brunello and his precious 17C cello in interaction with the movements of Korean dancer and choreographer  Yong Min Cho, who articulates his artistic expression in a contemporary language inspired by tradition. An interdisciplinary encounter backed by some of the earliest manuscripts for solo cello, traditional Korean melodies transposed for the occasion by Brunello for his instrument, and two contemporary compositions, Giovanni Sollima’s “Concerto Rotondo” and Isang Yun’s “Glisses”.
