MARKUS STOCKHAUSEN, TARA BOUMAN

Markus Stockhausen plays the trumpet, Tara Bouman various clarinets and basset horn. They both share a musical vision oblivious to barriers of style and genre (their musical backgrounds encompass classical and contemporary music and jazz). Playing is a means of interacting with the space they occupy. They follow scores, improvise, but above all they dialogue with each other and with their surroundings, even the silence of the mountains, the blue of the sky, their audience.
