The Barber of  Seville

Established in 2005 to bring opera to a wider audience, a further aim of the Musica a Palazzo ensemble is to take this musical genre out of the theatre. This venue couldn’t present a more exciting challenge: a natural stage 2,000 metres above sea level, where, as is their custom, they can blur the differences between artists, musicians and audience, exploiting this interaction to give the audience the thrill of being and feeling themselves a part of the work.

After touring the United States, Musica a Palazzo staged La traviata at the 41st Brighton International Festival, electrifying the audience and winning the Argus Angel Award, and recently brought The Barber of Seville to the Potsdam Festival in Germany.

HOW TO GET THERE

From the Malga Malgaroi car park

1 ¼ hour walk, vertical ascent 300 metres, difficulty E

To protect this particularly delicate and sensitive environment, you are asked to drive to the higher car parks only with a full car. Access and parking for a limited number of vehicles.

The final section in the direction of Monte Peller is a dirt road (a 4x4 is advised).

Route: on foot from Pra del Termen to Pian de La Nana passing Malga Cles, Lago delle Salare and Passo della Forcola

GUIDED E-MOUNTAINBIKE RIDE TO THE CONCERT VENUE WITH MTB LEADERS

Route: from Loc. Verdè riding through Rifugio Peller, Passo della Forcola, Laghetti delle Salare, Malga Malaroi and return

To take part:

there is a charge and bookings must be made by 12 pm on the 31th of August at Val di Non tourist office on +39 0463 830133. E-bike rental 40 €.

The ride will take place with a minimum of 10 participants.
