Max De Aloe Quartet presents "Just for one day", journey around David Bowie's music

Music

Max De Aloe, chromatic harmonica and accordion

Roberto Olzer, piano

Marco Mistrangelo, double bass

Nicola Stranieri, drums

David Bowie's music is completely revisited by the quartet in a mix that ranges from jazz to rock.

The approach is similar to the one the group had faced for Bjork's repertoire in the CD and LP "Bjork on the moon", considered by critics and audience among the most successful projects of the Lombard harmonica player and his quartet.

The quartet with Olzer, Mistrangelo and Stranieri has been a stable band for thirteen years now, and has released several cds (Lirico incanto, Bradipo, Bjork on the moon, Road Movie and Borderline) and has given hundreds of concerts.

The quartet won the Orpheus Awards 2015 with the CD Borderline for the jazz section. In addition, Max De Aloe was awarded the Jazz It Awards organized by Jazzit magazine as best Italian musician of 2014, 2015. 2016, 2017 and 2018 in the category reserved for various instruments (viola, cello, harmonica, banjo, harp, mandolin etc.).

The concert will take place at the natural amphitheater of the park
