Meetings at the museum to talk about fauna

Meetings and conferences

Cheetahs, leopards and lions, among the most iconic and fascinating felines in the world, are endangered: today these species occupy just 10% of their historical range and their population has more than halved in the last 25 years (WWF data). On Wednesday 8 March at 20.45 Miha Krofel, a researcher from the University of Ljubljana, will be at MUSE to talk about his 20 years' experience studying and conserving these animals in the savannahs of Namibia.

After an initial focus on the biological and behavioural characteristics of these species, some of the research and management projects currently underway for their conservation will be examined

The event will be held in-person, and broadcast Facebook Live from the Muse
