PRESENTATION OF THE DOCUMENTARY "MEMORIES OF AN UNDERWATER WORLD. REDISCOVERING PILE-DWELLING VILLAGES
An extraordinary glimpse into the lives of our ancestors 4,000 years ago unearthed through archaeologists' research and now re-presented in a documentary with meticulous reconstructions.
"Memories of an underwater world. Rediscovering pile-dwelling villages" will be presented on Friday 11 November at 17.00, at the TRIDENTVM S.A.S.S. - Spazio Archeologico Sotterraneo del Sas / Sas Underground Archaeological Space in Trento (Piazza Cesare Battisti).
Written and produced by Philippe Nicolet, the documentary features the scientific direction of Pierre Corboud, Professor of prehistoric archaeology and anthropology at the University of Geneva and one of the foremost experts on prehistoric pile dwellings.
Corboud himself and Franco Marzatico, Director of the Department for Cultural Heritage of the Autonomous Province of Trento, will take part in the meeting.
