Mesolithic hunters of Val di Fiemme: discovering the oldest human frequentations of this territory in the framework of the prehistoric peopling of the Alps

In this meeting we will explore the oldest traces left in Val di Fiemme by prehistoric human groups who frequented this area between the late Paleolithic and Mesolithic periods.

How did these people live and what was their relationship with their surroundings? To answer these questions we will delve into the framework of the archaeological evidence that has emerged in Trentino, and discover together what are the methodologies of modern scientific research applied to prehistoric remains.
