Entirely made out of plexiglass, the installation hosts an interactive sound map of the Vallagarina, which puts in relation the sounds of the landscape with the oral memories of people. By clicking on the six buttons you will be able to listen to the “emotional” micro-story of a place such as the mill of Calliano, Castelpietra or Malga Palazzo, narrated by a key informant; with another click, you will hear the “voice” of that environment: the sound of the stream, of crickets, of bells, of the busy road. The aim is to create a three-dimensionality of the sound, which connects astonishment, memory and emotions; it is about balancing the visual and the auditive dimensions in order to collect and protectthe stories of the community and it is about reflecting on the social changes, also from an acoustic point of view.

(The participation to all the events of the festival is free of charge by paying the entry ticket to the castle)
On 10th and 11th June the Castle is opened from 10.00 to 23.00. On Sunday 12th June the castle closes at 18.00.

The location of the meetings is 10 minutes by walk from the car park. Dogs are not allowed in the castle.
