Mother

MOTHER tells us about a son and his peasant mother: she fell into a well. Out of carelessness? By madness? By choice?
It is not really a dialogue: it is a diptych, made up of two monologues. He scolds her and goes in search of the tools, the 'technology' to get her out, while at the bottom of that seemingly endless well, his mother confesses that she is not afraid, that she does not feel uncomfortable.
The allegory of an increasingly poisoned Mother Earth stands out from that desolate landscape, the nightmare of a "technology" that, instead of discreetly helping mankind, acts as arrogant and destructive, capable of devastating millenary balances. In the inlay of the text, between Italian and Romagnol, two figures emerge, poised between the crude reality of our days and the symbols of a threatening and indecipherable future: they seem emblems of an oriental fairy tale.
