Mountain wines
Heroic winegrowing in Trentino, South Tyrol and Valle d'Aosta

The provincial winehouse of Trentino in collaboration with CERVIM - the Centre for Research, Studies, Safeguarding, Coordination and Enhancement of the Mountain Viticulture in the Val d'Aosta - is promoting the tasting of 'extreme' wines, the fruit of vine cultivation in mountain areas, with the aim of enhancing heroic viticulture and safeguarding the landscape of the highlands.
The characteristics that the CERVIM member areas have in common and on which the recognition of 'heroic winegrowing' is based are the slope of the terrain above 30%, the altitude above 500 metres above sea level, the terraced and stepped vine-growing systems and the tenacity of the vine-growers.
From 27 April to 7 May from 17.00 to 22.00 (except for 29 April from 17.00 - 21.00 and tastings in the presence of the producers), guests of the Enoteca will have the opportunity to discover the fascination of wines from the extreme regions of Trentino, Alto Adige and Val d'Aosta.
The event also includes taste workshops, themed menus and a day dedicated to the resistant wines of the Piwi Trentino and Alto Adige Association (3 May).
