Museum in the city 2024

Also for the 2024 season, the initiative “The Museum in the city,” a traveling guided tour from the halls of the Museum to the historic center of Riva del Garda, will accompany us with one event a month until the end of October.

From 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., a special route in stages will connect the MAG collections on display at the Museum of Riva del Garda to the monuments and points of interest of Riva, in a city tour focused each time on a particular historical period. The theme addressed will thus make it possible to investigate the past of the town of Riva del Garda each time from a new and different perspective, guided by a MAG operator.

Renaissance in Riva del Garda

A dive into the Renaissance in Riva del Garda from the rooms of the Museum that house the newly opened temporary exhibition “Renaissance on Lake Garda” to the streets of Riva, to discover Renaissance relics.

The tour starts from the Museum and will reach some famous places in the town such as Piazza 3 Novembre, Piazzetta San Rocco and the Morocco district, and symbols such as the Apponale Tower, which underwent elevation precisely in the 16th century.
