Museum in the city 2024

Also for the 2024 season, the initiative “The Museum in the city,” a traveling guided tour from the halls of the Museum to the historic center of Riva del Garda, will accompany us with one event a month until the end of October.

From 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., a special route in stages will connect the MAG collections on display at the Museum of Riva del Garda to the monuments and points of interest of Riva, in a city tour focused each time on a particular historical period. The theme addressed will thus make it possible to investigate the past of the town of Riva del Garda each time from a new and different perspective, guided by a MAG operator.

Former "Convento dell'Inviolata" Monastery

The tour begins with a brief visit of the section of the Museum dedicated to the Chiesa dell'inviolata Church, and then heads to this prestigious architectural complex.

The visit then continues by admiring the Cloister of the Monastery located on the ground floor and the upper floor where recent restoration has unearthed valuable decorations
