Nature Light

With the exhibition Nature Light  by Attilio Forgioli, the MAG (Alto Garda museum) continues the artistic research on the Garda landscape through its interpretation by contemporary artists: in 2014 with Tullio Pericoli’s and in 2015 with Mario Raciti.

Forgioli’s exhibition casts new light on the various elements of the landscape of these places. Thus, his creations reflect the artist’s sensorial research, and they are the result of his own knowlwdge of the territory – he was born in Salò, where he has stayed on several occasions, and where his vision of nature took shape.  

Throughout year 2015, after several on-site visits, Attilio Forgioli carried out a series of pastels on paper  - about 70 works are on display -, which represent the artist’s interpretation of several aspects of the landscape of the upper Garda.
