Nature and Culture in the UNESCO World Heritage recognitions

Natura e Cultura nei riconoscimenti UNESCO. Un approccio possibile (Nature and Culture in the UNESCO World Heritage recognitions. A possible approach) is the international conference that will be held in Trento on 3 and 4 December with the aim of discussing the theme of the mixed UNESCO nominations - natural and cultural - and the presence of the natural element in many UNESCO nominations and awards.

In particular, this occasion will be important to put in relation knowledge and testimonies, available experiences and best practices, in order to envisage a nomination plan for mount Baldo as a World Heritage Site.

Conception and organisation by the Autonomous Province of Trento, intermediation by the UNESCO Area of tsm - Trentino School of Management -, in partnership with the Italian National Commission for UNESCO, the Fondazione Museo Civico di Rovereto and the Veneto Region. The conference is also sponsored by the MIBAC (Italian Ministry of Heritage for Cultural Heritage and Cultural Activities), by ICCROM (International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property), the Federation of Doctors of Agriculture and Forestry of Trentino Alto Adige, and the Order of Pharmacists of the Autonomous Province of Trento.
