On the train with Segantini

A wonderful journey between Milan and his home in Switzerland, into the thoughts of Giovanni Segantini: his perception of the world, his ideas on nature, his vision of the symbol as an interpretation of the cosmos.
For once, the famous discretion of the painter from Arco is laid bare, as we sit in an armchair next to him in the train carriage that will take him to his beloved home in Savognino. An (im)possible journey through a magnificent illusion!

From 20.30: dialogue led by Alessandra Tiddia, curator of the Mart (Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto), and Romano Turrini, historian.

At 21.00: theatrical performance "In treno con Segantini" (On the train with Segantini) produced by AriaTeatro. After the performance, the Galleria Civica G.Segantini will remain open free of charge until 23.00.
