With the President of Emergency, the Bishop of Trento, the Mayor of Trento - moderator: Alberto Faustini

Meetings and conferences , Book presentation

The Emergency group of Trento proposes the presentation of the latest book by Gino Strada, founder of the association: Una persona alla volta (One person at a time), published by Feltrinelli.

From Kabul to Hiroshima, a passionate narration of the roots that inspired Gino Strada day after day, journey after journey. But also a radical reflection on the abolition of war and on the universal right to care. It is the story of the commitment and experiences that led Gino from young surgeon from Sesto San Giovanni to the farthest countries, to pursue the idea he kept on bringing forward with his passion and with EMERGENCY: saving human lives and fighting for their rights.

Curing victims and claiming their rights, a person at a time: Gino was convinced of this. From the operating theatres in Afghanistan to the coronary care unit of the Salam Centre in Sudan, he taught us that the only possible medicine is  based on equality and humanity. Person after person, right after right.

With:

Rossella Miccio, President of Emergency;
Don Lauro Tisi, Bishop of Trento;

Moderator Alberto Faustini, director of "l'Adige" daily newspaper
