Open Palazzos
A historical route among towers, palazzos and art exhibitions
More than 70 municipalities in Trentino taking part in the Open Palazzos event will open the doors of their buildings, palazzos and historic places, which are usually inaccessible to the general public.
The initiative, now in the 20th year, offers a unique opportunity to look at the city with new eyes and from a different perspective, becoming “citizen tourists” at home.
With the programme “The Green City”, free guided tours will therefore be offered not only to historical palazzos and museums, but also and above all to gardens and parks, places of great natural and landscape interest that are silent guardians of history, culture and art.
The programme includes not only the Garden of Palazzo Betta Grillo, a splendid example of an Italian garden with local and exotic species, but also the Garden of St. Oswald, the Garden of St. Mark's Rectory, and the Garden and Botanical Room of the Science and Archaeology Museum.
