Orchestra di Piazza Vittorio

This musical social project needs no introduction. Now in its 15th year it has emerged as a striking example of dialogue between ethnic groups and cultures in the name of that universal language that is music. On this occasion, the Orchestra takes on the role of interpreting present with a project dedicated to the theme of faiths and religious diversity. Credo it is a sort of religious - or rather inter-religious – oratorio,  into which flow texts, original music and pieces by Rossini, Britten and De Machaut as well as religious and Sufi songs, accompanied by instruments from various western, Arab and oriental musical traditions.
