Ortinparco 2017

Since its first edition, Ortinparco is the "green party" par excellence, which every year welcomes the Spring and the season of work in the vegetable garden and in the garden.

The Habsburg Park is the symbol of the spa town of Levico Terme and was created in the early 1900s when Levico Terme was a favourite destination of the Austro-Hungarian nobility; it covers an area of 12 hectares and houses majestic native and exotic trees.

Ortinparco aims at reproducing the memory of farming and cultural traditions, at renewing peasant wisdom and handicraft skills.

The themes dealt with this year will be the transparencies of the the vegetable garden and the garden, that is themes which are delicate, almost impalpable (ancient fairy tales, methacrylic figures, meditation corners, etc.)    

Visitors will enjoy about thirty installations of horticultural garden, exhibitions, a colorful market of farmers, crafts and ancient trades, seminars, musical and theatrical moments and also some gourmet menus in the restaurants in Levico Terme.

The rich cultural programme offers original educational and creative workshops for children and adults.
