Palazzo Roccabruna | Open Palazzos 2022

Cultural exhibitions and events , Guided tour
[ Redazione Trentino Cultura]

On 13 December 1545, the Council opened with a solemn procession from the Church of SS. Trinità.

Medieval Trento changed its face to make way for the Renaissance: streets were widened and new buildings were built, such as Palazzo Roccabruna in Borgo Nuovo, which, at the behest of Girolamo II Roccabruna, a scholastic canon, treasurer and close collaborator of Prince-Bishop Madruzzo, was to host in the last year of the Council the Count of Luna, ambassador of King Philip II of Spain.

Amid official meetings, disputes, secret conspiracies and Palace parties will his figure be "conciliatory"?

Come and find it out through a guided tour with theatrical performance in the company of two characters who experienced the Council personally, inside the Palace...

Organized by the Cultural Association Il Giardino delle Parole with Federica Chiusole and Alessandra Evangelisti
