The thesis project in Communication, Design and Publishing at the ISIA of Urbino develops a new form of cartography based on knitwear, a traditional profession of the examined area. Starting from the ecosystem chart of the Valli del Pasubio, a mountain village in the province of Vicenza, it was possible to make a wool map with a hand-loom (total dimension 205×170 cm). The handmade map was then converted with the Jacquard loom in order to obtain a cheap, pocket-size and moisture-resistant map (total dimension 105×125 cm), accompanied by an illustrated printed guide. The whole work was carried out in a network of local industries.

On 10th and 11th June the Castle is opened from 10.00 to 23.00. On Sunday 12th June the castle closes at 18.00.

The location of the meetings is 10 minutes by walk from the car park. Dogs are not allowed in the castle.
