Riccardo Zegna was born in Turin in 1946 and, after a short concert activity, he focused on Jazz music.
He performed with big American musicians such as Buddy Tate, Harry “Sweet” Edison, Lee Konitz, Eddie “Lookjaw” Davis, Pepper Adams, George Coleman, Bob Berg, Bob Wilber, Joe Chambers, Kenny Wheeler and Dave Liebman, playing also in Germany, URSS and USA.
Recently he has founded the group „Inside Jazz through Classic“ and he has recorded the track „Piccolo valzer“ for Egea record.
He has been teacher at the conservatory „Ghedini“ in Cuneo for years.
