Roger Eno in concert | 13 November
On Sunday 13 November, grand finale for the last day of Brian Eno's "Audio Installation for Buonconsiglio," at 17.00 with a performance by Giacomo Del Sogno at the Buonconsiglio Castle and at 21.00 at Trento’s Conservatory of Music with a concert by his brother Roger Eno
The exhibition "Brian Eno for Trentino" - strongly desired by the Autonomous Province of Trento, is organised by the Centro Servizi Culturali Santa Chiara, with the collaboration of the Castello del Buonconsiglio and Trentino Marketing and the production of Alessandro Albertini and Giuseppe Putignani - is one of the most attractive events of the summer/autumn season with an excellent response from the public, drawing people from all over the region and beyond.
From 19 August the works by renowned British artist Brian Eno have been big stars at the Buonconsiglio Castle with "Audio Installation for Buonconsiglio", a site-specific installation conceived and created especially for the castle.
The exhibition will be extended and remain open to the public until 13 November 2022.
On this final day, at 21.00, a concert will take place at the Conservatory Auditorium in Trento, featuring Brian's brother, ROGER ENO, a composer and musician whose distinctive style has attracted a cult entourage.
On schedule on 13 November is another event in connection with Brian Eno’s figure and exhibition, featuring artist Giacomo Del Sogno: lecture/performance entitled “Inaudibile invisibile indimenticabile – Brian Eno al Cavallino” . The event will take place at 17.00 in the Buonconsiglio castle room “sala delle Marangonerie” (free admission).
Del Sogno starts from the archives of the Cardazzo Fund (Cini Foundation, Venice - Italy) to propose to the public a reading and performative restitution of archival materials about Brian Eno's exhibition and installation at the Cavallino Gallery in the 1980s. Through the medium of voice, sound, and video, the project broadens accessibility to a new understanding of Brian Eno's artistic career, especially during his presence in Trento and his return to publishing personal musical compositions.
From the environment to the object: the artistic research of Giacomo Del Sogno is based on the creation of audiovisual materials that can contain an imagery related to the narration and enhancement of existing, possible and impossible memories, recordings and archives.
