Rural Middle Ages

The edition of "Rustico Medioevo" (i.e. Rural Middle Ages) is held in the medieval village of Canale di Tenno. The manifestation organized with the collaboration of the House of Artists G.Vittone and of the Ville del Monte Committee, proposes moments of history, culture and folklore of our valleys. Theatre and dancing performances and folkloristic shows will find their perfect setting in the small square of the medieval village, in the garden and in the inside of the House of Artists and in other characteristic localties of the valley. The programme will provide dance performances in costume, concerts with medieval musics, theater in the square, exhibitions, plays for children, cultural meetings and films set in the Middle Ages. It will also be possible to taste the typical local cuisine.

CUISINE:Every evening, in addition to the dishes of the day, you can taste polenta with "peveraa", polenta with cheese or gorgonzola, cutlets,frankfurters, strudel and drinks from the bar.

Every evening, in the courtyards and districts the street shows will be presented by the town criers of the Associationl'Arca di Noè, while the medieval street will be held in the small squares and under the archways.
