SARS-CoV-2. An illustrated history of a virus

More than a year after the official emergence of the disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus and while we’re still experiencing a major global health emergency, the exhibition "SARS-CoV-2. An illustrated history of a virus" tells the story of the knowledge gained by science and medicine about the new virus, the management of the disease and its spread, the effects on personal and social life and the lessons that this dramatic though not entirely exceptional event brings.
With an authentic and captivating graphic style, typical of the graphic novel, the exhibition focuses on the main issues of this time: a global pandemic and the social challenges connected with it in an informal language.
The exhibition is the product of an idea of the MUSE in collaboration with scientific illustrator Sara Filippi Plotegher, with the patronage of the local health care service and CISMed.
Free access to the museum lobby
To make the project even more inclusive and accessible, the exhibition will be translated into a simplified Easy to Read language, in collaboration with Anffas Trentino Onlus.
The museum is accessible only by guided tour; boooking required. The visit for small groups of maximum 15 people is in Italian and lasts 2 hours.
