Sabir, Velasco Vitali's new installation, will be inaugurated on Saturday 31 August in the presence of the artist at the Malga Costa area.

For Sabìr, Velasco Vitali was inspired by the Mediterranean domes that, since the 15th century, have been embellished with coloured majolica tiles: their colours are taken up by painting larch shingles, typical of the cladding of Alpine buildings, with the luminescent colours of Mediterranean ceramics, from the blue tones of the sea to the rosy hues of the dawn light, trying to recall the cultural imprint that has soaked the coasts of the whole of Europe for centuries from the East.
