Mikael Godée soprano saxophone, Emilio Galante flute, Giulio Corini double bass, Johan Birgenius drums.
Sonata Islands' new co-production with two Swedish musicians. The two musicians Godée and Birgenius will be hosted in residence to rehearse a programme of all original music. The project will then be hosted in Sweden in winter 2023.
Mikael Godée is one of the leading players on the Swedish jazz scene. His involvement in groups such as Corpo, MEQ and Änglaspel have made him internationally known. He has won a Swedish Grammy and the 'Jazz in Sweden' award.
