Dance

Encounter, Clash, Recognition, Abandonment are the stages that mark the physical practices of the two performers and their relationship.

From walking to dancing, Ombelichi Tenui is an oration without volume in which the bodies transport themselves to the borders of their identity; it is the story of two different faces that have begun to resemble each other; it is a secular rite of passage to say goodbye to someone or something that has left, a friendship, a love or a life.

From an exploration of the theme of accompaniment, Filippo Porro and Simone Zambelli have questioned the bodies that move away and come closer, support and let go, reunite and separate until the end.

Death, which was not at first the focus of the project, has arrived as an inevitable component, as a fact of reality that somehow conditions any reflection on the bodies that accompany each other during and beyond life.
