YOUNG TALENT CYCLE: Takeshi Shimozato, piano

The Young Talents Project presents Takeshi Shimozato, a student of Leonid Margarius at the Imola Academy, winner of the 3rd prize at the EPINAL competition (2019), the Bracco prize at the Pozzoli competition (2021), the first prize at the Villa Oliva competition (2022), and the 3rd prize at the Rina Sala Gallo competition (2023).

She will perform a programme that is both virtuoso and romantic at the same time, with Beethoven's famous and much-loved 'Appassionata', excerpts from Granados' languid Goyescas, and ending with Musorgski's monumental 'Pictures of an Exhibition'.
