Sandra Landini, piano
Music by Fanny Mendelssohn, Dora Pejacevic, Maria Szymanowska, Frédéric Chopin

Sandra Landini has been performing as a soloist for many years, giving concerts all over Europe, Gasteig in Munich, Festival Grieg in Bergen (Norway), Fondation Pierre Gianadda in Martigny (Switzerland) Theatre des Varietes in Monte Carlo, Musik Theater and University of Vienna.

Repeatedly invited to the USA and Canada, she has performed for the Steinway Piano Series at the University of Florida, in the Kopleff Recital Hall in Atlanta, in the Bertelsmann Foundation Building in Athens, for Music Encore Concert Society in Richmond Vancouver, at the Hugh Hodgson University Of Georgia and at the Center for the Arts in Oregon.

She offers a romantic, but very sophisticated and distinctive programme, with music by the piano poet Frédéric Chopin, and other female composers of the 19th century: Fanny Mendelssohn (the sister of the more famous Felix), Dora Pejacevic, (a Croatian composer who lived at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, an énfant prodige who began composing when she was only 12 years old and decided to be a nurse in World War I, disowning her noble origins) and Maria Szymanowska (a Polish pianist and composer who later settled in St Petersburg, one of the first professional pianists of the 19th century).
