Maurizio Moretta won the first prize at the Viotti Competition in Varallo (7th edition) and has since embarked on a brilliant concert career, performing in Prague, Vienna, Hamburg, Mexico, Istanbul, Moscow and Bacau, among others.

He will be performing a programme spanning three hundred years of music, from Mozart (18th century) to Gershwin (20th century) via Beethoven (with the most famous of his sonatas, the evocative 'Moonlight'), Chopin (nocturnes, waltzes, sudden fantasy), Debussy (arabesque).
