Spaceways - Music and dance tracks

From 12 to 14 May, electronics lights up Rovereto with SPACEWAYS - Music and dance tracks

Dance , Music
[ Centro Servizi Culturali S. Chiara di Trento]

The Centro Servizi Culturali S. Chiara proposes an event that investigates the relationships between sound and movement, focusing on electronic sounds and the relationship with video. The protagonists include leading figures from the European scene such as Plaid and Robert Henke, as well as cult dance names such as Virgilio Sieni and mk.

After the first, vibrant weekend that last March lit up the spaces of the Auditorium Melotti and those of the MART Museum, the second track of SPACEWAYS - Music and dance tracks arrives from 12 to 14 May, the new initiative that the Centro Servizi Culturali S. Chiara organises in Rovereto, entrusting the best national and international music and choreography with the fascinating task of investigating the relationships and signs of movement and sound today.

On Friday 12 May the Mart will host the dance performance 'Satiri', the new, vibrant chapter in the original research of the internationally renowned choreographer Virgilio Sieni. After that it's the turn of the music by the Berlin duo Dictaphone who, in the Auditorium Melotti, will meet the illustrator Roberto Ballestracci to build a fascinating dialogue between electronics, cinematic jazz and unexpected flashes, in collaboration with the “Nuvolette” project. Reference point in the electronic music scene, the English band Plaid will finally end the day with a hypnotic audio-visual performance.

On Saturday 13 May the the mk and their 'Bermudas', an enchanting choreography, will make people dance in the Mart square; then audiovisual artist Camilla Pisani will enchant the audience with her music between ambient, drone, soundscape, soft noise, industrial and minimal electronic.

Such a day dedicated to quality, could only end with 'CBM 8032 AV', audio-visual performance immersed in a fascinating monochrome green by German composer Robert Henke, which will also be presented at the Venice Music Biennale next October.

The second track of Spaceways will finally conclude on Sunday 14 May, again with mk and their choreographic performance entitled 'Bermudas'.
