The Fondo Ambiente Italiano (the National Trust of Italy) presents the FAI Autumn days 2023

In October, the great event of FAI - Fondo Ambiente Italiano ETS | the National Trust of Italy -, dedicated to Italy's cultural heritage and landscape, is back with the exceptional opening of 700 inaccessible or little-known places in more than 350 cities (list of open places and how to participate at www.giornatefai.it).

The FAI Autumn Days are back on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 October 2023, the much-loved and awaited event that the  FAI has dedicated to Italy's cultural heritage and landscape for the past twelve years.

During the weekend, enlivened and promoted with enthusiasm by the FAI Youth Groups, together with all the volunteers of the Trust's Territorial Network, special visits will be offered to hundreds of extraordinary places throughout Italy, which have been selected because they are usually inaccessible or because they are curious, original or little-known.

The public will wonder at and ejoy the richness and variety of the treasures of history, art and nature that are hidden, unexpected and amazing, in every corner of the Italy.

Among them, visitors will discover historic palazzos, villas, churches, castles, and even examples of industrial archaeology, museums, art collections, archaeological areas, libraries, artisan workshops and production sites.

Part of the programme are also itineraries in villages and trails in nature areas, urban parks, botanical gardens and historical gardens.

The FAI Fall Days are organized as part of the Foundation's "October of FAI" fundraising campaign, which is active throughout the whole month.
