The deserter recounts in words and music, in a cabaret-like atmosphere of the 1920s, the incredible saga of Virginio Ferri, a mountaineer from Trentino who was called to arms. Thanks to his notes, his hilarious diaries and his love letters, we will experience an unforgettable journey: it’s a moving and comic story of a mountaineer-poet, of his life consumed by the fire of art and of love.
