Great event in music with the Centro Servizi Culturali S. Chiara. Next Saturday, 15 October (at 21.00), Rovereto's Fausto Melotti Auditorium will host a concert by LETTUCE, a historic and overwhelming band originally from Boston that can skillfully blend the rich history of funk with hip-hop, rock, psychedelia, jazz and soul.

And here, right on time, is Unify.  Unify is Lettuce's eighth studio album, but it is also the third consecutive record made at Colorado Sound Studios in Denver, completing an unfinished trilogy that began with Elevate in 2019 (Grammy nominated), and continued with Resonate in 2020.

Unify also represents a significant moment for the sextet-Adam Deitch (drums), Ryan Zoidis (saxophone), Adam Smirnoff (guitar), Erick Coomes (bass), Nigel Hall (keyboards/vocals), Eric 'Benny' Bloom (trumpet)- almost 30 years since its early beginnings in Boston.

"We are becoming more and more close-knit," Coomes says. "Really, these are the first records made with the six of us as a team, and it's the best the band has done so far: live and in the studio; the most fun and funky work."
