Synopsis:

Documentary dedicated to the famous Italian Archaeological School of Athens, on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of its birth. A journey through Italian archaeology in Greece, recounting the ancient and current excavations and the sensational discoveries made on the islands of Crete and Lemnos in over a century of life of the School: the sites of Festos and Haghia Triada, the city of Gortina, in Crete, and Poliochni, in Lemnos, defined as the "oldest city in Europe".
