The theory of colour

Following the success of the past editions, TeaTrekking is back again this year: four walks with different destinations, guided by a mountain guide and followed by a theatrical, musical or choreographic performance. The appointments will take place from Sunday 7 May to Sunday 4 June.

The initiative is organised by Teatro delle Garberie, ariaTeatro and  Valsugana tourist board. With the collaboration of Rifiuti Speciali, Associazione Accompagnatori Media Montagna del Trentino, Associazione Culturale Forte delle Benne, Municipality of Tenna, Municipality of Levico Terme, Associazione Artesella, Istituto Culturale Mocheno. With the contribution of the CARITRO Foundation.

On Sunday 4 June, guide Mario Simoni proposes a walk from the church of Barco di Levico to Artesella. This route has a challenging difference in height. Immersed in one of the works of the open-air museum, spectators can watch the performance La teoria del colore (The theory of colour), by and with Chiara Benedetti and Iacopo Candela, an ariaTeatro production.

Plots of visions delineated with wonder from Vincent van Gogh's letters to his brother Theo. In contemplation, creatures of unexpected beauty are sometimes born. This is what happens to Vincent in his fond writings he addresses to his brother Theo, in which, with disarming simplicity and touching transport, he pours out disturbances and miraculous discoveries. Visions collected and sketched as only the eye of a revolutionary painter can do. A world founded on colours and their nuances, where interpretations of reality escape logic and become emotion.
