The memorial to the Trentino people deported to the Third Reich will be exhibited in Pergine Valsugana - Opening on Friday 15 April 17.00

Installation consisting of 212 copper containers containing the photos and some brief biographical information of 212 Trentino people deported to the concentration camps of the Third Reich during the Second World War.
These were not soldiers or partisans but ordinary people, including seven religious figures who, for different reasons (such as solidarity with the Resistance or disobeying the occupiers), ended up in Dachau, Auschwitz, Bolzano and the other notorious Reich camps. Many of them did not return home and all were forgotten.
A memorial so that the memory of the victims does not fade, and with it the memory of evil.
