To arms! To arms!

The traditional event that has been attracting thousands of spectators to Castel Beseno for years is back on 10 and 11 August.

In the incomparable setting of the largest castle in Trentino, the traditional appointment with the historical reenactment groups from all over Europe lets us return to the past, to the life at the castle with warriors in armor and other actors in period costume.

Several historical reenactment groups will take turns and the large square of the castle will be the scene of battles, horse riding performances, duels, assaults.

Camps with tents, armories and workshops will allow the evocation of a real split of military and civilian life. 

Among the not-to-be-missed events will be the battle re-enactment 'To Arms! To Arms!': all companies will be there on Saturday 10 at 9.30 p.m. and Sunday 11 August at 4.30 p.m.

Among the historical reenactment groups that will entertian the public, let us mention: Circolo Culturale La Cinquedea from Finale Emilia, Accademia Cangrande from Scala di Verona, Cavalieri del Carretto from Finale Ligure, Compagnia Città del Grifo, Cavalieri del Drago from Castelfranco Veneto, Gruppo storico Exheres, Compagnia d’Arme Strategemata le Bande di Baldassarre Scipione, e la Schola Tamburi Storici.
