Tourism to come - 21st International Mountain Tourism Trade Fair
From the crisis a new opportunity for change
The health emergency caused by the Coronavirus has only accelerated some of the processes of change - triggered by geopolitical and climate change in the 21st century - already underway, also in the tourism sector.
In this new scenario, which is profoundly different from the past, mountain tourism must seize the opportunity for change to consolidate its role and identity within the international tourist offer.
Mountains, in fact, represent an interesting response to the current crisis, because they have always offered low-density enjoyment and a comfortable living environment both in summer and winter.
The 21st edition of the Tourism Mountain Trade Fair reflects on these changes and urgencies, trying to illustrate the passages of this necessary historical moment.
Conferences will take place at a distance - Facebook live; in this way, they'll also represent an "educational opportunity" for students in the tourist sector and tour operators.
