Trees can dance is the story of Pinot, a woodcutter who is sent into the heart of an ancient forest with an arduous task: to cut down the majestic Valhalla tree and bring it to the village for an important celebration. But Valhalla will prove to be a tough nut to crack; the great tree will reveal wonderful and surprising secrets of the forest and make Pinot reflect on the meaning of life and the importance of always making one's decisions.
It's a journey of learning and knowledge that will end in a delicate hug between man and nature.
The show weaves together the languages of storytelling, comedy and science, and it's a journey of discovery into the secrets and wonders of the forest.
Recent research shows that trees create real societies, communicate with each other and warn each other when danger is looming. The forest possesses a special plant intelligence. Older trees know the secrets of survival and longevity and pass them on to younger ones.
