Trento | Christmas City

Cultural exhibitions and events

Once again this year, "Trento, city of Christmas" returns for the Christmas festivities, with its many food, wine, cultural and musical initiatives that will enliven the entire city. In Trento you will be spoilt for choice: whether you want to have fun in Piazza Dante together with your children, with the workshop activities in the Santa Claus Village or see the city from above by taking a ride on the panoramic wheel; whether you prefer to be enchanted by the illuminations in the historic centre and appreciate the architectural beauty of Piazza Duomo even in the dark with the photomapping; whether you want to meet the local associations and be entertained around the bonfire in Piazza Cesare Battisti, or whether you prefer to taste local delicacies in the classic atmosphere of the Christmas Market.

You will also be able to admire the majestic wooden Nativity scene in Piazza Santa Maria Maggiore or enjoy the skating rink in the le Albere district; lose yourself in the beauty of the large tree set up in Piazza Duomo, get inebriated with the Trentodoc event in Palazzo Roccabruna or wear the visors in the Vantini chapel and marvel at the new immersive experience to discover the ancient beauty of Roman Trento.

In addition, the initiatives will also have a green footprint, with consumption reducing the environmental impact, as was the case with the last edition. In short, lots of activities throughout the festive period. Everything will be accompanied by an atmosphere made even more festive by the little train that will take you through the streets and squares of the city filled with the scent of mountains, wood, hot tea and cinnamon typical of Christmas.
