The book "Trento città dipinta. I decori murali esterni dal Medioevo ai giorni nostri" (Trento painted city. Exterior wall decorations from the Middle Ages to the present day) (368 pages) - curated by Ezio Chini, Salvatore Ferrari and Beppo Toffolon - is the result of an important scientific and editorial project conceived and carried out by the Trentino section of Italia Nostra, in collaboration with the Historic Archive of the Municipality of Trento, the  Department for Cultural Heritage of the Autonomous Province of Trento and the  Department of Humanities and Philosophy of the University of Trento, organisations and institutions represented in the scientific committee.

About thirty historians, art historians, archivists, architects and thirteen photographers collaborated on the volume, edited by Grafiche Antiga Editions (Series: Art)

Nadia Groff curated the graphic design and Andrea Simionato the editorial direction.
