Trio in one

Established in 2014, the Trio in Uno project brings together Brazilians Pablo Schinke on cello and José Ferreira on seven-stringed guitar and Italian Giulia Tamanini on saxophone. This ensemble abounds with energy and empathy, and is able to create new sounds in a unique, vigorous and sophisticated amalgamation that explores Brazilian music at 360 degrees. Their music ranges from popular to the expressiveness of classical and also brings in music by great Brazilian composers, such as Egberto Gismonti, Sergio Assad, Hermeto Pascoal, Marco Pereira and Radamés Gnattali.

Trio in Uno came to wide public attention with their album “Lilas”, which was received with instant enthusiastic acclaim by international and French critics. They have appeared on numerous radio and television shows and toured extensively in Brazil and Europe. In 2017 they created another project with chamber and symphony orchestras known as the “Trio in Uno and Orchestra”.
