Two days with Claudio Magris
From the stage to the dialogue

“Lei dunque capirà” ("She will finally understand")
Theatrical show by Claudio Magris with Elisabetta Pozzi
Among the theatrical pieces written by Claudio Magris,“Lei dunque capirà” ("She will finally understand") is the deepest, the most meaningful and moving one. It's a monologue, and it evokes many other characters; the protagonist's life and passions are depicted as she felt them, intensely, but which she wants to leave behind, even when he has the opportunity to live again certain experiences.
She is a modern Eurydice, poisoned and finally even killed by the poison, forced to leave her only, absolute love. Orpheus can not find peace until he obtains the return of his wife from the "President", from a place from which no one has ever returned.
The possible return of Eurydice to light and life ends here with an upturning of the original story.
Margherita Rubino
With the participation of Claudio Magris.
