What is left at the end of a war?

Guided tour with theatrical performance

Cultural exhibitions and events , Drama

What is left at the end of a war? Conflicts radically change people's lives, those who fight and those who are forced to flee and then return, finding their country and people very different from before.

The words of a father and son, victims of the First World War, although in different ways, will tell of their slow process back to their lives.

The story, written by Patrizia Pasqui and performed by actor Mario Spallino, will accompany a guided tour of the 1914-15 Artillery section of the Italian war history Museum of Rovereto, housed in the Second World War air-raid shelter in Piazza Podestà.

It was precisely artillery that caused some of the most dramatic effects during the First World War, introducing a destructive power never experienced before. The consequences of these terrible weapons on the landscape and above all on people will be the fil rouge that will accompany the public during the guided visit with theatrical performance.

The event is part of the Rovereto Estate  Summer festival organised by the Municipality of Rovereto (Rovereto Summer festival - PDF programme )
