Young Talents: NoteRosa

Ars Modi proposes for the second year now the cross-cultural festival “Young Talents” (Giovani Talenti), which hosts the best emerging musicians from the national and international scene, recommended by State Conservatories, International Competitions or other important musical institutions.

Sensitivity and passion are the peculiar features of the Duo NoteRosa, whicht started from the friendship and curiosity of two musicians, Monica Maranelli, pianist, and Priyanka Ravanelli, violinist. The Duo focuses on the performance of pieces composed by women. The two musicians' passion inspired composer Sebastiana Ierna, who wrote the piece "Sul sentiero stellato" for them; as a matter of fact, the duo also wants to give voice to living female composers.

Both graduated with honors from the Bonporti Conservatory in Trento and continued their studies in Switzerland and Belgium, where they trained with well known teachers such as Anna Kravtchenko, Klaidi Sahatchi, Gwendolyn Masin, Saiko Sasaki. In this way they started their international concert career.

They will perform a programme with music by Clara Wieck, Amy Beach, Elfrida Andrée, Sebastiana Ierna, Amanda Maier.
