Più Piano Festival 2025

17th piano festival

Music

The 17th edition of the “Più Piano” international piano festival, organized by Ars Modi APS under the artistic direction of Trentino pianist and composer Edoardo Bruni, starts in Roncegno on Tuesday 10 June.

It was born in 2008. The common denominator is the presence of the piano, either solo or accompanied by other instruments. The artists who take part in the event come from Trentino - South Tyrol, Italy and Europe, so as to offer an overview of high-level musical realities from different nations. There are also a number of concerts each year, expressly dedicated to emerging musicians, from Trentino, Italy and abroad, included in Ars Modi's cross-sectional festival called “Young Talents.”

Each concert of the Festival is preceded by a short introductory presentation, so as to accompany the audience in listening to the music on the programme and to let even people who are new to classical music approach these concerts easily. In addition to classical music, other concerts will take place, devoted to other styles of music, such as jazz, improvisation, tango, and film music. Concerts are often combined with other art forms, such as theater, painting, poetry, and dance.

The 2025 edition is marked by the highlighting of two anniversaries: the 100th anniversary of the birth of Italian composer Luciano Berio, and the 50th anniversary of Trentino composer Edoardo Bruni: the works of these two musicians will be performed in several concerts of the festival.
